During this season of Lent we are reminded of how much we have and to think of those less well off. This is a topic that was very close to Pope Benedict’s heart and he wrote critically of capitalism and the need for the goods of the world to be shared more equally. Miriam Gormally spoke with Justin Kilcullen, director of Trócaire about the importance of Catholic social teaching and Pope Benedict’s contribution to it.
