Last week we spoke with Fr. Joe McDonald about his book, “Why the Church Deserves to Die”. This week he looks at the role of women in the Church and how they might take a larger role in the Church. He says that the women are carrying the Church with what he calls “heroic virtue” – not looking for praise for themselves, but doing work for the love of the Lord. However he feels it’s time for women to take back their Church and be part of the regeneration of a new kind understanding of Church.
