Jesuit Education and their schools are renowned the world over, often which far more people wanting to attend than there are places. But what is it that makes them so special or desirable? Dr Jean-Pierre Eyanga Ekumeloko was educated in Boboto College in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He says that “There are values, skills and knowledge that I received from my education in Boboto College in Kinshasa that have equipped me enough to stand strong and be able to open effectively any door in the world, without any complex.” He says the Jesuits have a fantastic “tool to shape the world” and is “sad to hear that many Jesuit education institutions are closing down.” He explains more about the education to Miriam Gormally.
