On Thursday, the 4^th of January, Vodafone Ireland Foundation launched World of Difference, an innovative new programme offering four Irish residents the chance to spend a year working for their chosen registered Irish charity. World of Difference encourages applications from people across the country, who can demonstrate the necessary passion, skills and commitment to make a real difference. The successful applicants will be offered a year’s salary, capped at €40,000 as well as expenses necessary to carry out the role.  Miriam Gormally spoke with Jan Mottram, Chairperson of Vodafone Ireland Foundation over the phone and asked her why she got involved in this project.
