Since 1987 Uganda has been struggling against AIDS. After 17 years of war the country is still fighting this ongoing battle, trying to cope with the problem and to educate the people about how to control the disease. Sr. Miriam Duggan spoke to Peter O’Connor about her experience there and the solutions that are being tried.
