Recently four women brought their abortion stories before the Dáil. Ruth Bowie who was one of the women involved later told Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show that one of the politicians was “extremely nasty” and “not very pleasant”. A blog post later appeared to link the comments to Senator Ronan Mullen. Senator Mullen told Miriam Gormally that he was “horrified at any suggestion that I was nasty to anyone at that meeting”. Here he explains his views on the matter.
