Noirin Ni Riain’s musical and personal background is rooted in the traditions of Ireland. Her music gives a voice to many long forgotten Irish and Celtic songs, that would otherwise be lost forever. She has a long association with the Monks from Glenstal Abbey and the Cistercian nuns in Glencairn where her latest CD AMEN was recorded. Noirin began by explaining to Eileen Good what the an acronym AMEN stands for.
