Kerry Anthony is Chief executive of an organisation called Depaul, which has been in Ireland for about twenty years. They work in partnership with St Vincent de Paul and were set up in the 80s in London to respond to people sleeping rough. Kerry says that homelessness in Ireland is now worse than it ever was and also it has changed in nature. Previously issues like mental health and addiction were the main cause of homelessness, but now their organisation are seeing more and more economic homeless people, people who have jobs or once owned houses, but who can not longer afford them. Kerry explained more to Miriam Gormally.
