Pádraig Naughton has been severely visually impaired since birth. Yet despite this he has pursued a career in art, both visual and tactile. He studied in the National College of Art and Design and since leaving there has given several exhibitions both in Ireland and abroad. He is currently the Director of Arts and Disability Ireland and was involved in the publication of “Face On” a book with looks at disability Arts in Ireland and beyond. Miriam Gormally asked him what he found most difficult about growing up visually impaired in Ireland.
