The reality of  Irish emigration continues to be a tragedy for Irish families. It is particularly hard during the Christmas Season, when families traditionally gather. Geraldine Kellett’s daugher, son-in-law and her new grandchild are all living in Australia. Her husband has joined them for Christmas leaving her home alone. She talks to Miriam Gormally about the sadness and difficulty of facing Christmas on her own.
