MRSA is a deadly superbug that breeds and thrives in hospital environments. With Ireland ranking number 3 in the MRSA league in Europe, Dearbhail McDonald speaks to Miriam Gormally about her recent report on the matter and the risk to Irish patients. She explains that a lack of basic hospital hygiene can cause the high rates of infection, with vulnerable people being effected the most. She talks about what needs to be done to tackle this problem.
