James O’Connor, is membership development manager of open heart house, a place that offers a social outlet to those who are HIV+.  Being HIV+ himself, James has particular insight into helping others living with the disease.  He is also putting his life’s work and experience to good use and is going to South Africa to work on a holistic health program for people with TB, HIV and AIDS.  But first Miriam asked him what it was like discovering for the first time that he was HIV+.
