NAMHI, an organisation which helps people with intellectual disabilities has recently taken on the name Inclusion Ireland.  They are also running a series of seminars responding to the particular needs of people with intellectual disabilities.  Miriam Gormally met Deirdre O’Carroll, Director of the organisation to find out the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and how they are being met.  She first asked why they changed their name from NAMHI to Inclusion Ireland.
