John Bruton on Brexit

In his second interview with Conor Deane, Former Taoiseach John Bruton, a vocal supporter of the EU project, and one of the greatest supporters for The Peace Process here in Ireland shares his disappointment at the myopia and the lack of charity from our friends and neighbours in the UK. He also discusses how the Brexit Project is not about bringing people together and healing divisions but instead it is about creating fresh division with new borders and isolating themselves from the rest of us in the EU.

He also looks at whether the reunification of Ireland might be in our future but how a lasting peace can only really be achieved by examining the past and seeking ways to heal some very deep hurts through a very carefully planned Truth & Reconciliation Commission.
