The Church of Ireland Youth Department’s annual residential weekend – Anois – will this year inspire young people from the lives of ‘legends of faith’ in the Bible.  Anois 2016 will take place between 29th-31st October in Wilson’s Hospital School, County Westmeath, bringing together young people of secondary school age from across the island.

Anois is now in its 12th year and this year’s theme will focus on exploring the stories of Old Testament heroes and look at how their stories can inspire Christians to live out their faith in their everyday lives. The main speaker will be the Revd Alan Breen, curate in St Patrick’s Church, Greystones.  Over the weekend there will be Bible teaching, praise and worship, small group times for discussion and prayer, a chill zone, giant games, paintballing and much more. Miriam Gormally met with Revd Alan Breen to find our more about the Old Testament ‘legends of faith’.

The booking fee is €80/£60 with a 50 per cent discount for siblings. Transport will be available to and from Wilson’s Hospital at a cost of €20/£15 per child.
