Roger Gillen is a singer/composer from Sligo who emigrated to America in 1982.. He now lives on the 42nd.Floor of an apartment block in mid-town Manhattan with his wife Mignon and his two boys Daniel (12) and Gabriel (8). and works full-time in the music business. Through a very difficult family time, he remained in the music business, composing and performing. He is currently attached to St. Ignatius Loyola Church in New York as Music Director and Cantor. He told Eileen Good about his show “Love’s Pure Light” and how it all started for him, many years ago in Sligo.
