This was a piece of music that first went out at the end of Dec in 2017 and was one of our most popular pieces in 2018.

It was a piece of music from Marie Dunne, a Holy Faith Sister, Mary Temple of the Lord.

She talks about how she wrote it for the Presentation Brothers when they had their General Chapter in Rome. She explained how she drew inspiration from the fact that their whole spirituality is around the presentation of Mary, a feast not mentioned in the New Testament but rather in the Infancy Narratives of James. According to that text, Mary’s parents, Joachim and Anne, who had been childless, received a heavenly message that they would have a child. In thanksgiving for the gift of their daughter, they brought her, when still a child, to the Temple in Jerusalem to consecrate her to God.
