The new Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh is a Dubliner; Dr. Richard Clarke is now Primate of All Ireland. Elected last Tuesday and announced the following day, he said the main challenge facing the Church is how to bring the gospel to people not in a hectoring way but to encourage Christian faith as a source of strength in a rapidly secularising society. Paul Loughlin asked the Archbishop how the Church of Ireland would deal with the report of the Expert Group on Abortion whose report is now overdue.
