AIDS is a problem that we like to think doesn’t really exist in Ireland, but recent studies show that there are over 4,000 HIV+ people living here and over 300 people each year die from the disease.  Open Heart House was established as a place of welcome for people living with HIV or AIDS.   Miriam Gormally met James O’Connor from Open Heart house and asked him to explain their work.
