Reflection on Church leadership

Christian Leadership is different to other types of leadership, so say Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, Ken Good. It is a leadership that is focused, not merely on personal power, but on bringing about, through prayer and reflection, God’s vision for this world.

Due to retire at the end of May, Bishop Good shares the highs and lows of his time as bishop and how he plans to make the transition to retirement, something he is not expecting to be “plain sailing”. He also talks about his lasting impressions of the cross-border diocese, and shares some reflections on being a Bishop in a time of cultural change. Peter Cheney asked him to talk more about his seventeen year journey in the diocese of Derry and Raphoe.
