Religious education is a very important issue for parents and children alike. From choosing a school to deciding whether to partake in Faith formation, parents are constantly faced with choices around education. Sean Goan is Faith Development Officer with Le Chéile, as well as being active in giving courses and retreats on scripture. Here he speaks with Miriam Gormally about Religious education. Miriam began by putting it to him that many would see Religious education as little more than a free class and that some might even say, why bother?
