A piece from our archive – January 21st 2009 – Bishop Raymond Field expresses support for the people of the Holy Land as conflict and violence continues in Gaza.

Bishop Raymond Field, chairman of the Irish Commission for Justice and Social Affairs, has just returned from a trip to the Holy Land where he and representatives of the Church world-wide, expressed their support for the people there at this very difficult time.  He told Eileen Good about the trip and his reaction on seeing the situation at first hand.
