Ite O’Donovan is passionate about music, especially choral music. A former director, and first ever women director, of the Palestrina Choir at Dublin’s Pro-Cathedral, she is currently director of the Dublin Choral Foundation, the Lassus Scholars and Piccolo Lasso (the juniors!).  These are independent non-denominational choirs.  Right now, like choirs nationwide, they are currently rehearsing for Christmas, their busiest time – as she told Eileen Good.
