We return to our archived pieces for this week and will return to further analysis of the impact of the Pope’s visit next week.
In this piece from 2006, we look at “The Grieving Journey”
There’s no sure route through grieving – Jerusha Hull McCormack says “we are all amateurs at grief – it comes to us all and we must go through it.” She wrote her book ‘Grieving, a beginner’s guide’ after the sudden death of her husband. Now retired from her post as Senior Lecturer in U.C.D. she told Eileen Good how she decided to write the book to help those who are grieving to find new paths to a new way of living.
This is an interview that shines of authenticity. Thanks for sharing it again.
