The location of the Ploughing Championship may seem an unlikely spot for a Church presence, but that is exactly where the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin decided they should be when the World Championship was held near Tullow, Co. Carlow last year – they’re heading off again this year and when Eileen Good met Fr. Tom O’Byrne, she first asked him where exactly the ploughing was being held this year.
