Mahatma Gandhi touched the hearts and souls of people all over the world. Even those who didn’t always agree with him, couldn’t help but admire his non violent tactics. Ela Gandhi is his niece and she is continuing in her Uncle’s footsteps. Miriam Gormally met her at the recent “One World” media conference in Rome where Ela Gandhi was trying to inspire others to use the media for good. She began by explaining how she got involved with the media, or more specifically re-established the paper that was started by Mahatma Gandhi.
