The Devotion of the Sacred Heart  – taking Jesus’ physical heart as the representation  of his divine love for humanity – is one of the most widely practiced devotions in the Catholic Church. Fr. Frank Mullan talks about the history of this devotion and how it is still very relevant today. He talks about how this devotion reminds us of the love that God has for us and the love we have for other people and this is how we can interpret the message of the feast day of the Sacred Heart.
