Towards Peace was set up by the Church as an organisation to provide a safe supportive space, where people who have been affected by abuse in a Church context can be accompanied as they seek their own experience of spiritual peace, one step at a time.

People who have experienced abuse, in particular by Church personnel may have had their faith shattered and have fractured their relationship with the presence of God within themselves and their lives.  Towards Peace work to try and help people who want to find a pathway back to God, the faith and the sacraments.

Miriam Gormally spoke with Una Allen, the Director of Towards Peace to find out how people can begin the journey back to trust and spiritual wholeness.
