Gerard O’Collins SJ is an author and professor emeritus of the Gregorian University in Rome. He has written and debated widely about how we can understand Jesus. Pat Coyle met Fr Gerard and asked him what we really know about Jesus, or even as some people claim, whether he ever existed at all.
