On January 25^th 1959 Pope John XX111 announced his intention of calling a Vatican Council – 50 years ago.  On another significant day, January 20^th 2009 the inauguration of President Obama, Pat Coyle asked Jesuit Fr. Brendan Staunton to explain the historical context of the 2^nd Vatican Council.
