This year’s Trocaire Lenten Campaign is tackling the issue of gender inequality -focusing specifically on Malawi. In many countries today women have the right to vote, to own property in their own name, to work in professions of their choice –or do a number of things that were forbidden to them in the past because of their gender. Eileen Good asked Emer Mullins Communications Officer with Trocaire if Trocaire were now campaigning for women’s rights.
