Jan Phillips is someone who has a very different story to tell.  At 8 she decided she wanted to become a nun and at 18 entered a convent.  However things didn’t work out and she was asked to leave.  After an initial period of shock and then recovery, she went on to develop her own spirituality, working as an author, activist and photographer.  Here she tells Miriam her extraordinary story.
