The Pope captured the world’s attention with his recent trip to the Philippines. His Papacy has been strongly focused on people living in the economic margins and he faced up to some hard questions from young girls wondering why God allows so much suffering to happen.
Miriam Gormally asked Cathal Barry, reporter with the Irish Catholic whether he feels that the trip to the Philippines was showing yet again that he wanted to be a “Poor Church for the poor.”
