Every day there’s a new headline telling us about drug seizures, drug abuse and the rising numbers of young people experimenting with drugs. For parents, it’s their worse nightmare – despite all they’ve done to keep a child on the right path, they discover he or she is taking drugs. What does this do to a family? Philip discovered that his son was taking drugs, and had to cope with the effect this had on the family. Eileen Good asked him what advice he would give to families if they suspect that one of the children has started using drugs.
