The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a practice where adults and older children are gradually introduced to the Roman Catholic Faith. It was very popular in the early Christian Church and was again recognised as necessary after Vatican II. Paul Montgomery talks about the process involved and how people should go about it. He also talks about his own experience is preparing adults for baptism.
