Changing society means that the number of Religious involved in secondary school education has dropped.  Ceist was set up by the Daughters of Charity, the Presentation Sisters, the Sisters of the Christian Retreat, the Sisters of Mercy and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.  It is an organisation aimed at keeping the energy and educational mission of the founders of these congregations alive.  Miriam Gormally met the new CEO of Ceist, Anne Kelleher and she explained the aim of Ceist.
