Mercy Sr. Camille D’Arienzo has worked as an educator, reporter and writer. She is most famously known as the religious commentator for 1010 WINS radio, an all news radio station based in New York that has been on air for 50 years, with a listenership of half a million.

D’Arienzo lives in the Diocese of Brooklyn and is the author and narrator of Stories of Forgiveness, about people whose experiences have caused them to consider the possibilities of extending or accepting forgiveness. Much of her life’s work involves reconciliation and she explains to Marie Stuart RSM why Christian teachings on forgiveness have such an appeal to her.

Some years ago, I purchased CD’s that Camille produced and I still recall the wonder of hearing her inspired stories. It is wonderful to be reminded of her lovely attitude once again. Her understanding of the reasons we would not want to forgive others actually free up the space to look at things differently – even our wounds. Let us, her listeners, spread the word in order to heal our suffering world. Thank you!
