The Congo has often been referred to as the “forgotten conflict” because it has been going on for so long, that it tends to fade into the background. Miriam Gormally met Micheal O’Riordain OxfamIreland’s Humanitarian Programme Co-ordinator, who has been to the Congo several times and was there again recently. He began by explaining what the atmosphere was like on his last visit.
