Speaking at a conference recently in Manresa House in Dublin, on the subject of drugs and addictions Fr. Peter McVerry said that in today’s world, we have to accept that young people will experiment with drugs. Eileen Good asked him about his statement that he wouldn’t believe anyone over 16 who says they haven’t tried drugs.
