Eugene Quinn, director of the Jesuit Centre of Faith and Justice and a trained economist, talks to Miriam Gormally about the impact of European policies and the worry that Europe is at a crossroads and the most vulnerable will suffer. He explains that Europe is developing three pillars: economic, social and environment but that some countries are emphasising the economic pillar and this will create social issues. Miriam asks if he believes it is possible to maximise economic growth while safeguarding those who are most vulnerable.
