The general perception of Christmas is as a time of great joy and happiness. It is a time for celebration and for connecting with friends and family.  However there is a darker side to Christmas.  It is often one of the most stressful times of the year with more family rows than usual.  In fact Christmas day is the busiest day of the year for the police domestic violence unit!  So where does it all go wrong?  Miriam Gormally met Ursula O’Farrell & Sarah McLoughlin, both experienced family therapists to see if there was a way of avoiding conflict this Christmas.  Sarah began by explaining how we might have a more grounded approach to Christmas day.
