Fishing Tales

At this time of year fishermen are not out in their boats, so perhaps it’s a good time to curl up and read about the exploits of other fishermen, their love of the rivers and lakes and the sheer joy of being out there with a rod in hand.  Fr. Paul Andrews is a lifelong keen fisherman and because of this Eileen Good asked him to review two books by another priest and fisherman Monsignor Denis O’Callaghan.  The books are Gone Fishing – Anecdotes of an Angler and Putting Hand to the Plough both published by Veritas.  He talked first about ‘Gone Fishing’.
