Bedford Row family project was established in 1999 – after a survery by the Franciscian Friars and the Mercy Sisters showed that the greatest unmet needs in Limerick were of families impacted by prison. Larry de Cleir is the current director and here he talks with Marie Stuart about how it all began with a kettle in hospitality centre outside Limerick prison.
