Hospitals can be very isolating and frightening for children. Mary O’Connor from Children in Hospital Ireland (CHI) says that play can help. So as part of their plan to bring more play into hospitals they are running a national roadshow. Starting in February, they are going to bring entertainment, magic and surprises to children in 26 hospitals around the country. Miriam Gormally began by asking Mary how it all started.
