October 14th marks the celebration of Emigrant Sunday and October 21st is Mission Sunday. In Ireland today, 10% of the population was born outside of Ireland, and these people are now part of our Parish communities nationwide. Fr. Angelo Lafferty from the Society of African Missions, working with Mission Alive which is a project of the Irish Missionary Union, told Eileen Good about this year’s theme.
