World Mission Sunday takes place on the second last Sunday of October each year. October is the traditional month of universal mission since 1926. Miriam Gormally speaks to Edward Grimes CSSp, national director of World Missions Ireland, about how Mission Sunday began. He also talks about his time spent woking in Africa as a missionary and how his role as a priest there was very varied. Miriam questions if the local people found Western spirituality strange.
