Mount Melleray offers refuge and a place of retreat to people looking for help or support in living a Christian life. Living together in a community as a brotherhood, the monks teach that happiness can only be obtained by patience, mutual love and mutual care. Miriam Gormally met Rachel Keirse who recently came back from spending a week there and asked her to tell her about the abbey and about her stay there.
