Oxfam is committed to ending poverty and suffering in developing countries. They promote understanding of the causes of these injustices and campaign for a world where everyone can live free from poverty and oppression.  Their link with Fair Trade is an important part of their work to improve people’s livelihoods. Margaret Carr, Buyer for Oxfam Ireland, told Eileen Good about the origins of Oxfam.
