Signs and symbols form a large part of our everyday life, but sometimes they are so present that it’s hard to decipher them. Pat Coyle is an award winning journalist and broadcaster with over 25 years experience. He own Masters in Philosophy focused on symbols in art and culture. She has had regular appearances as a panelist on various BBC and RTE programmes, The View and Questions and Answers among them. Pat is currently employed as Communications Manager at the Jesuit Communication Centre in Dublin. Here she talks with Miriam Gormally about her recent talk in the Avila retreat centre in Dublin on “stories, steps, symbols on the spiritual path.”
