November is a month to remember the dead. Starting with the two feast days of All Saints and All Souls, the month continues as a time for quiet reflection on mortality and for taking stock. Fr. Vincent O’Hara, a Carmalite talks about the month of November and how we can remember the dead and use the reminder of mortality to help us live better in the present. Vincent whether the afterlife and death was still something that was important to the Irish psyche.
